V4-Eastern Partnership Democracy Network: Strengthening Media and Public Engagement
This project brings together a consortium of media partners from Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, and Ukraine to promote reliable information and foster a sense of community across the Visegrad Group and Ukraine. By addressing challenges tied to EU enlargement and combating disinformation, the initiative strengthens democratic values and encourages active citizen participation. Through articles, workshops, and international collaboration, it aims to support Ukraine's European aspirations while enhancing regional stability and resilience against authoritarian threats.
Implementation period: January 20, 2025 to September 30, 2025
Partners: Project is implemented by the consortium lead by EURACTIV Poland. Consortium also include EURACTIV Slovakia, EURACTIV Czech Republic, and Gwara Media from Ukraine.
The project is supported by the International Visegrad Fund and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
